This workshop is taught by Jeanette Warne the pastry chef and artisanal bread maker and owner of Homeshed Kitchens

The goal of this workshop is to introduce participants to the foundations of bread making.

HK'S ARTISANAL BREAD KIT PROVIDED: 

- ONE 2-lb bag of our freshly milled "Artisanal Bread Blend" flour (best to use for starter development)

- ONE lame (a bread maker's scoring blade)

* Online access to coursework

* Light snack served during break (BYOB)

Workshop begins promptly at 12:00 noon

- Arrival & check in

- Overview of workshop

- Dough building (recipe/formula for workshop - HK’s 150g baguette & HK’s soft bread)

- Dough development & pre-shaping

- Dough retardation
