This workshop is taught by Jeanette Warne the pastry chef and artisanal bread maker and owner of Homeshed Kitchens

The goal of this workshop is to introduce you to the knowledge and skills to put your best pastry foot forward. Learn how to make two primary French tart doughs- Pate brisee and Pate sucre.  You will learn the fundamentals for rolling out an even and round circle of dough and a free-form tart and cover the basics of crafting a flaky crust and discus several ways to embellish your pie with decorative edges and tops.

- Crust build for Pate Sucree (fresh fruit tart or galette)

- Crust build for Pate Brisee (Fall vegetable tart)
