This workshop will provide you with the knowledge and skills to put your best pastry foot forward. Learn how to make two primary French tart doughs- Pate brisee and sucre.  You will learn the fundamentals for rolling out an even and round circle of dough and a free-form tart and cover the basics of crafting a flaky crust and discus several ways to embellish your pie with decorative edges and tops.  

DATE: April 23, 2016

  • Maximum 8 people per workshop (minimum of 6 for workshop to go ahead)  
  • Workshop is opened to 18 years and up (or 12 years accompanied by parent or guardian)
  • Dress Code: Closed shoes with rubber sole (strictly no sandals or heels)
  • 4 hour workshop learning the benefits of how to make your own perfect pie at home!
  • Each person will create a delicious fresh fruit tart, a free-form galette and a double crust apple pie
  • A hand-stamped flour sack towel (personally hand-stamped by me)
  • Light lunch provided by Homeshed Kitchens

Come and make new friends or bring a few of your own for a day of baking together and meeting new people!

Cancellation Policy – Refund will be given for all cancellations made 7 days prior to course start date less Paypal fees if applicable.  No refund for cancellations made less than 7 days prior to course start date.  Booking can be transferred.
